Bespoke Software Development

This, our principle business area, refers to software developed specifically for your own business and its needs, as distinct from a general purpose "off-the-shelf" solution. Although by no means essential in every situation, the difference is that rather than using a tool which almost fits your needs, with a bespoke solution you work with a tool designed for the job.

Our primary tools for development work are one or more of Borland Delphi, Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft Office VBA, in conjunction with Access or SQL Server databases.

Web Page Development

Our secondary business area, although vying for top spot, is the development of dynamic web pages, along with e-commerce facilities. For this we generally use PHP together with MySQL running under Apache on Linux or Unix, although we have also utilised Perl and, where requested by the client, Microsoft's ASP under IIS.

Web Hosting

We provide an extensive web hosting plan for a reasonable fee of £12+vat per month, for which you receive 50Mbytes disk space, 2Gbytes data transfer and PHP, Perl and MySQL.

Hardware Supply

Mainly as an adjunct to our software development service, although we are happy to quote for any requireement, we supply and install computer systems, from a single PC plus printer to complete office networking.
